Hello Friends and Fam!
Day 1 in Quito, Ecuador was really great! We went to La Comuna and met with 70 kids! We sang songs, did some art and ate together. I showed the students how to draw stars, and how to draw the 6 line “S” we used to draw when we were young. Iykyk 😭 my Spanish is getting slighttttttly better lol
I was able to find moments alone to just reflect and take in all I was seeing. It’s truly mind boggling to think about being across the world, and seeing Gods love, even here. I’m truly blessed to be able to serve in Quito.
Afterwards, we went back to Freedom and Nancy’s house to create personalized letters for the kids in La Comuna. Nancy’s daughter, Kayla is also an artist who showed us her beautiful drawings and earrings she created. 😍
We have a 730a call time for breakfast 🥴 but we will be up & at it in the name of the Lord! Catch yall mañana! Adios! 😘
