The team was able to get some rest after a very long day of travels yesterday. We woke up to breakfast and an incredible view of the Mediterranean! It is certainly hot here but there is a breeze and the place we are staying has been very hospitable.
Today has been a wonderful day of mental and spiritual preparation as we have been able to meet as a team and share together, enjoying meals together, and also enjoying 3 worship services throughout the day. As a community, we are with our brothers and sisters from Hellenic Ministries and from around the world, about 180 in all.
We had a chance to hear from Johnathan Macris, who is the president of Hellenic Ministries and whose father started the ministry, speak about the vision and history of HM.
We also got to hear from 2 pastors who are in HM as they encouraged us in our time that we have ahead of us.
The team is getting ready for another day of travel tomorrow as we will drive to Kombi, stopping along the way in Corinth to worship and remember the Lord’s faithfulness.
Thank you for your continued prayers as we reflect on our testimony of what the Lord has and is doing in our lives. We can feel the Holy Spirit already pulling threads together in our team time and preparing us for the days ahead.
