Kalispera! This will be the first in a series of posts as a lot has happened over the past couple days.
The team has been retracing the steps of a Paul and it has been pretty incredible. From Ioannina (no known history of Paul’s presence :)) to Corinth (Acts 18) to Athens and a tour of the Parthenon and Mars Hill (Acts 17).
The views and fellowship were spectacular but even more impressing on our minds was the reminder that just as God used Paul nearly 2,000 years ago, He is still looking for willing vessels today to reach Greece and the rest of the world.
We also had a chance to meet up with David Ball, Stephan co-laborer at Hellenic Ministries, focusing on church planting. Hearing David walk through the vision of how Hellenic Ministries is working to build gospel-centered community throughout Greece while on the sites where Paul started the same journey was especially impactful for the team. It was such a blessing to hear David’s heart as he expressed how they are taking a gentle and patient approach to planting the gospel.
