Today (July 8) was a wonderful day in this beautiful corner of creation.
We started with a devotional lead by Anestis Psarrou, who is from the Thessaloniki region of Greece and in training to be a pastor. He has been a tremendous help to our team all week. He challenged us with 2 main questions:
- Do my words and actions mostly point to Jesus and the Kingdom of God or myself?
- If someone observed my life without hearing me say I am a Christian would they observe Christ through my actions?
The team was able to split up and spend the day engaging with different people as God led. Some were right at the beach next to where we were staying!
In the evening, a friend of Voula and Panagiotis that we met Tuesday came over and grilled for us and we had an amazing meal! He is a world-class chef and treated us while we were sharing testimonies and singing praises together. It was a beautiful evening and an opportunity to be an encouragement to our Greek brothers and sisters.
Please pray for us to finish the week well through God’s grace and power.
