🎉 Today is Joe’s birthday (happy birthday, Joe!) — and there’s no better way to celebrate than by serving others in a community built on friendship and faith. Our team spent the day in and around Anamnancyisi Chania, continuing to share God’s love in tangible ways.
👕 The team helped with the clothing ministry, sorting and organizing as the seasons change and preparing fresh racks for families in need. By the end of the day, over 25 families had received clothing, care, and encouragement.
☕ At the coffee shop, relationships continued to grow. Andrew spent the afternoon playing backgammon with Sophocles, a local man who walks nearly 30 minutes each way just to be part of the community. The joy found here remind us that the gospel is often best demonstrated through community.
🏠 Meanwhile, a few team members helped clean and prepare a studio apartment for Vanessa, a woman in the community who has been searching for a permanent home. Seeing the space come together was a beautiful picture of how God provides through the hands and hearts of His people.
✨ It was a full day of service, laughter, and gratitude — one that reflected the message of Jesus in simple, powerful, and practical ways.
