Day 1 (Evening): Young Adult Night at the Rodriguez's

Wow, is all that can say at seeing how Freedom and Nancy have created a great community of young adults doing some amazing things The evening started with Daniel sharing his testimony on how GOD reached him exactly when HE needed him to and how the gospel was shared with him by an Ecuadorian. Super cool story.

We heard some incredible stories from young adults taking bold and courageous steps of faith to follow God and spread the gospel. I want to share what touched me during this special time.

First is Micah's story. She took a huge leap to come to Ecuador for a job. The night we met, she had just completed that job and was preparing to return home. A Microsoft glitch delayed her departure, keeping her with us exactly when she needed to be. Returning to Indiana means living with her parents and finding a new job. She expressed her anxiety about feeling like she was moving backward and her weariness about the spiritual environment at home. I could relate, having faced a similar situation earlier in my career that seemed like a step back, but God used that experience to open doors later. We may not always understand His plans, but we know He has one. We had Micah sit in the "hot seat," as Nancy called it, where we prayed over her to encourage, affirm, and uplift. I am confident God will continue to do amazing things in Micah's life, and I look forward to hearing her praise reports.

The next story is about Rachel, who is preparing to take the gospel to the jungles of Ecuador. She is learning Spanish in Quito and will soon head to the jungle to teach children. Rachel led us in praise and worship, playing the keyboard and guitar and singing beautifully. What impressed me most was her radiant love for God, evident in everything she said and did. She is truly a mighty woman of God.

So many other connections were made that night. I was amazed and blessed by each one, grateful to witness God's work in their lives.

This is a testimony to the great work Freedom and Nancy are doing in Ecuador. Please continue to pray for them, their ministry, and all the young adults connected to them. Pray for their protection and guidance on their journeys.

Thank you for your support and prayers.
